Hey there! I’m Lexi, a licensed Esthetician since 2012, small business owner since 2015, and a licensed Instructor since 2022. My passion for skincare began while battling my own acne as a teen and young adult, but in 2013, my love for lashes took over when I took my first Eyelash Extension class. Since then, I’ve specialized in Lash Extensions and opened 614 Lash Bar, which has been an incredible adventure! Teaching Esthetics is one of my favorite things—I love seeing my students thrive, from completing their first service to discovering their niche. Hi! My name is Gabriela Thompson. I have been a Licensed Advanced Esthetician since 2012 and Licensed Esthetics Instructor since 2020. I started my journey in Illinois, attending CIDESCO accredited school - New Age Spa Institute and absolutely loved my time spent there. I felt prepared for my State Board testing and the start of my career. Shortly after I got certified, we moved to Ohio and I was working for a couple of very upscale Spas and a Medical Spa in Columbus. I always wanted to be a teacher and my dream was fulfilled when I got a position in one of the local Esthetics Schools. Shortly after I was hired I decided to open The Art Of Skin Academy and provide students with the same experience and sense of support and education I had at NASI. I am very passionate about this fun, changing industry and all the aspects it has to offer. I hope to meet you soon!

Hi! I'm Katelyn. My journey into the beauty industry began with a desire to break free from traditional work and pursue something more creative, nature-inspired, and meaningful. What started as a curiosity quickly turned into a deep passion for skin health and helping others feel confident in their own skin. I’ve spent over a decade as an Advanced Esthetician, working across Columbus—from fashion shows in the Short North to spa settings in Pickerington, Gahanna, and Dublin. I’ve had the pleasure of working with brands like Aveda and Waxxpot, running my own studio at Salon Lofts, and even doing makeup for Columbus Alive’s cover. I specialize in results-driven treatments like chemical peels and brow transformations, but I also love instant-gratification services like spray tanning—and I secretly adore full-body massage. To expand my skills even further, I’m currently enrolled in massage therapy school. In 2024, I followed my heart into education, earning my instructor’s license to help guide the next generation of estheticians. My mission is to fill in the gaps I once faced and empower students with the knowledge, confidence, and passion to thrive in this industry.

Lash Education Instructor
Rylie Blankenship, owner of Pretty Girl Esthetics and Pretty Girl Studios, teaches Lash Extensions and Brow Shaping at Art of Skin. Rylie has been a Lash Technician for over 5 years and is now a Board Certified Instructor. Rylie's classes combine a deep theoretical foundation with hands-on training. Passionate about mentoring, ensures her students not only earn their certificates but also gain a lasting understanding and support in their beauty careers.
